Supporting graduates in a small business can be a rewarding experience and a wonderful recruitment strategy.
This 6 month, on-line group program combines facilitated peer support and mentoring in critical workplace skills.
With a maximum of 10 graduates in a group, the format provides rich peer to peer learning and support to grow confidence and enhance wellbeing. It also teaches critical workplace skills that build competence and boost productivity no matter what area of practice they are working in. The program is an adjunct to your in-house clinical learning.
Who is the Program For?Â
Our mentoring program is designed to support allied health graduates in small businesses, especially those who are the sole graduates in their practice.The program connects graduates with a peer group to learn and grow together during their crucial first 6 months of practice.By facilitating a smooth transition into professional life, the program reduces the support burden on you and your team.
The program is also valuable for early-career therapists (1-3 years) who are transitioning into private practice.

Karen Dempsey is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist and successful practice owner with a deep passion for fostering leadership, growth, and sustainability in Allied Health professionals. Drawing from her extensive experience mentoring graduates in her own practice, Karen has developed a program designed to equip graduates with the tools they need to learn, thrive, and succeed in their careers.
A skilled and engaging group facilitator, Karen creates a positive, solution-focused environment for learning and meaningful discussions. Her approach is both practical and inspiring, empowering professionals to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.
