Nicole is an Occupational Therapist who has worked for over 22 years with adults experiencing a diverse range of conditions including complex chronic pain, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological and psychosocial. She has expertly provided patient-centred case management, consultancy, vocational retraining, assessment and intervention services in private, community and rehabilitation sectors throughout her career.
Nicole is committed to supporting people of all ages to achieve their goals through a holistic, person-centred approach. She is a problem solver, dedicated to working collaboratively with clients, their families and other healthcare providers to enhance people’s independence and participation in meaningful activities. Nicole is also a skilled educator and coach who competently facilitates group and individual education and training sessions for maximum learner experience.
As a clinical educator Nicole has facilitated individual and group sessions for OTs and other allied health professionals in a number of clinical areas. She has coached therapists with various levels of experience to identify their personal learning style, goals and needs, assisting them to excel in achieving client outcomes within different funding systems. Nicole's clinical expertise enables her to offer valuable insights, guidance, and practical advice based on real-world experience. Nicole provides clear direction, guidance and constructive feedback that is specific, actionable, and aimed at fostering growth and improvement in the therapists she is working with. Nicole has a mindset of continual learning and professional growth, staying up to date with the latest advancements in occupational therapy practices, industry trends and emerging technologies.
